Welcome to Camp Coletrain, a music workshop produced by Coletrain Music Academy! Our workshops offer instruction for first-time beginners to the advanced performing musician looking to gain more knowledge on their applied instrument. Our teachers are both renowned educators and avid performers. Our result-driven curriculum and real-world approach were created using proven methods that have helped countless students reach their musical goals. While we're preparing the AHmazing agenda, here is a snapshot of what you can expect...

* Workshop courses include fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass, dobro, banjo, ukelele, voice, and song-writing.
* We offer workshops for kids 12 and under as well as for adults.
* We kick off our camp with a welcome event and open jam.
* Each student will walk away with super cool CMA swag.
* Two full days of learning time with instructors and working within your cohort.
* We offer an optional morning yoga class designed for musicians.
* We provide snacks and beverages for each class.
* We feature nightly teacher and artist performances for students and their families.
* We close the camp with student ensembles so you can tout what you’ve learned.

We run a tight ship at Camp Coletrain to ensure students get the most bang for their buck! We also want you to enjoy everything that Buena Vista has to offer so we always carve out downtime so you can explore, shop, eat, drink, and adventure!

If you've never experienced our annual music camp you're in for a real treat! Camp Coletrain features small classes with dedicated instruction for first-time beginners to the advanced performing musician looking to gain more knowledge on their applied instrument. Classes are intentionally limited to ensure students have maximum time with their instructors and are able to build meaningful camaraderie with the musicians in their group. Camp Coletrain also features daily yoga, evening performances, and plenty of time to explore our magical mountain town. Our workshops will include fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass, dobro, banjo, ukelele, voice, and song-writing. (*Space is Limited)
